Assistant Manager

Reporting to and assisting the manager, you will lead employees to meet and exceed established goals and standards.
You will be working collaboratively with many individuals.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to): merchandising plans, recruitment and training, coaching and development, housekeeping, health and safety, scheduling.
Excellent customer service is vital in your experience and daily duties.
Strengths need to include interpersonal skills, passion for retail, customer service and horticulture and being an effective leader.
Retail supervisory experience is required, horticultural experience is preferred.

Garden Centre (Retail) Positions Filled

- Full and part time cashiers (flexible shifts)

- Sales personnel for our annual, perennial, tree & shrub department(s).

Landscaping

- Full and part time worker(s) with gardening and planting experience. Minimum 2 years of garden bed maintenance with knowledge of perennials and annuals.

- Landscape workers with pruning and hedge trimming experience.

A valid clean G license is a must.
Abstracts will be checked.

Grass Cutting

Full and part time grass cutter(s) with a minimum of 1 year experience and must possess a knowledge/ability of driving both truck(s) and trailer(s).

A valid clean G license is a must.
Abstracts will be checked.
